"You're worth it," Meredith says, glancing up as if she can gauge his expression from this angle. If he needs to hear it, she has no reason to hesitate, not when she means it entirely. "All of it, every minute, whatever happens..." She lets her eyes close, voice dropping a little, faintly self-conscious as she still sometimes gets about these things. Needing someone this much feels like tempting fate. "I don't know how I managed before you here, I honestly don't. And I don't care what gets thrown at us, I don't care how bad it gets; if I get to be with you, it's worth it."
